The 2nd Daegu Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Festival was held at the Korea Fashion Center on the 27th for early realization and expansion of the creative economy.

This event is supported by Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongbuk Provincial Government. Daegu Newspaper and SMBCA(Small & Medium Business Centers Association) arranged it for the early realization and spread of the creative economy. 400 people including Mayor Kwon Young-jin of Daegu Mayor, Jeong Byeong-yun of Gyeongsangbuk-do Governor participated in this festival.

Particularly, this event provided a place to exchange information and experiences about the creation economy which is the government's top priority economic policy and the future growth engine through guest lecture of Dr. Shin Jin-Kyo, Dean of the College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Business of Keimyung University and Kim Shunghee, CEO of the CEO Leadership Institute.

In the awards ceremony, we selected 25 companies that showed excellent management performance and creativity in the local creative economy industry. They were awarded with creative economy award (2 companies), gold prize (2 companies), silver prize (4 companies), bronze prize (6 companies), and the creation economy (11 companies).

Dr. Pak Kwangbum, CEO of Mega’gen implant Co., Ltd in Gyungsang and Koo Kyung-Bon CEO of Ecowin Co. Ltd in Deagu are awarded creative economy award. Cheon Ja-woo, CEO of Eslin Co., Ltd. in Yeongcheon and Lee Young-seb CEO of Techen co., Ltd in Daegu received gold prizes. Shin chulsoo, CEO of ENA Industry Co., Ltd., Chung Byungkee, CEO of Keyyang Precision Co., Ltd, Lee changseok, CEO of Yeejoo Corporation, Eom Boktae, CEO of Starcommunications is selected as the silver prize. Bronze prizes are given to 6 companies including Kim Chungrae, CEO of PNB Co., Ltd. Shim Kyungseop, CEO of Potec Co., Ltd and Kim Jong-guk CEO of DPM Tech., Ltd..

Creative Economy Person Prize is given to 11 companies to Kim Chungsoo, CEO of Daejung Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Song Junggeun, CEO of Song Ilsin Industrial Co., Ltd, Lee Youngbae, CEO of Kumkang Co., Ltd, and Kwag Hyun-Gun, CEO of Daekyoung Techno Co., Ltd..

Eleven companies including Daejung Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jung Soo), Ilshin Industries Co., Ltd. (representative Song Jung-gon), Geumgang Corporation (representative Young-bae Lee) and Daekyung Techno Co., Ltd. (representative Kwak Hyun-keun) were selected
